Join the Great American Cleanup in Martin County

March 20 – June 20

Spring has arrived in Martin County, the perfect time to come together and make our community shine!

From March 20 through June 20, Keep Martin Beautiful invites residents, businesses, schools, nonprofits, and civic groups to take part in the Great American Cleanup, a nationwide initiative led by Keep America Beautiful to create cleaner, greener communities.

Locally, our Green Up & Clean Up makes it easy to get involved. Organize a shoreline or park cleanup, plant trees, beautify a neighborhood, launch a recycling initiative, volunteer at a partner event, or sponsor efforts that expand our impact. Keep Martin Beautiful provides supplies, coordination, and promotion to help you make a difference.

House of Hope Gleaning

3/21, 3/28, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25, 5/2, 5/16, 5/23, 5/30

8:30am - 11:30am

Western Palm City

Gleaning is harvesting the produce remaining after a field has been professionally picked. Once harvested, the produce is distributed to House of Hope pantries instead of being plowed back into the soil. Volunteer support is essential.

This community-wide effort invites residents to roll up their sleeves and help keep their neighborhood clean, green, and beautiful. Trash bags, gloves, and pick sticks will be provided. All residents are encouraged to participate and make a positive impact close to home.

Downtown Stuart Earth Day Cleanup

Downtown Stuart

Join Stuart Main Street for the third annual Downtown Cleanup. Volunteers will meet at The Flagler of Stuart to pick up supplies before heading out to remove litter, freshen up sidewalks, plant greenery, and complete small beautification projects throughout Historic Downtown.

All ages are welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Closed toe shoes required.

Adopt-A-Road

Take part in the Great American Cleanup and extend your impact all year long!

Adopt-A-Road offers a hands-on way for businesses, community groups, schools, places of worship, families, and individuals to make a lasting impact by caring for a section of county-maintained roadway.

Teams agree to remove litter from their adopted area a minimum of six times per year, and we provide the necessary supplies, including safety vests, trash bags, and pickup tools, to help make each cleanup safe and successful.

Rio Nature Park Spring Cleanup

On March 7th The Rio Civic Club got together for a morning of trimming vegetation and giving the Rio Nature Park some extra love as we welcome spring.
